Project title- Research and development of an air-water heat pump with a natural refrigerant and an advanced evaporator defrosting system
Summary - On January 7, 2021, the company FRIGO PLUS d.o.o. signed a grant agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development to implement a project called "Research and development of an air-water heat pump with a natural refrigerant and an advanced evaporator melting system". The implementation of the project was co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds in the financial period 2014-2020.
Goal- The project entails the creation of a cost-competitive and highly efficient heat pump, incorporating a state-of-the-art evaporator defrosting system. This system not only facilitates energy savings relative to conventional heating sources but also, directly and indirectly, fosters a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
The target groups of the project are company employees, clients, partners and suppliers.
The expected results of the project are:
Introduced a new product to the market, created a feasibility study and secured intellectual property
- Improved innovativeness of the Croatian economy and realized cooperation between the academy and industry research sector
