COMPAS

Commercial compact chillers

COMPAS units are high-efficiency, compact water chillers. They are developed to meet the cooling requirements of smaller commercial or industrial refrigeration systems and are intended for outdoor installation.

The COMPAS unit consists of one or two refrigeration circuits. Each refrigeration circuit uses hermetic scroll compressors with advanced performance, designed and certified for operation with flammable refrigerants. Thanks to a wide operating frequency range, scroll compressors provide a broad range of achievable cooling capacity.

The evaporator is a shared dual plate heat exchanger with advanced characteristics (SWEP True Dual technology), connecting both refrigeration circuits to the hydraulic circuit. This ensures maximum heat transfer efficiency while reducing the required refrigerant charge.

The air condenser is of microchannel aluminum design. Axial fans equipped with EC motors allow variable speed control and variable condensing temperature operation.

Each COMPAS unit is factory tested and delivered pre-charged with refrigerant and oil. Conformity assessment is carried out in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU. The unit complies with all safety and environmental requirements.
