Project description

On 7 January 2021, the company FRIGO PLUS d.o.o. signed a Grant Agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development for the implementation of the project entitled “Research and development of an air-to-water heat pump with natural refrigerant and an advanced evaporator defrosting system”. The project was co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds within the financial period 2014–2020.

Project objective

The objective of the project is to research and develop an economically and energetically competitive heat pump with an advanced evaporator defrosting system. Such a system enables energy savings compared to conventional heating sources and directly and indirectly contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
