Configurable, compact water chillers

MIDIS units are high-efficiency, compact water chillers with a wide selection of optional hydraulic circuit equipment. The units are designed to meet the cooling requirements of systems with small to medium cooling capacities. MIDIS units are intended for outdoor installation.

The MIDIS unit features two refrigeration circuits. Each circuit is equipped with a hermetic scroll compressor of advanced design, characterized by significantly lower noise emissions during operation. The compressors are designed and certified for operation with flammable refrigerants.

A common dual plate evaporator with advanced characteristics (SWEP True Dual technology) is installed, connecting both refrigeration circuits to the hydraulic circuit via a single plate heat exchanger (evaporator). This design ensures maximum heat transfer efficiency while reducing the required refrigerant charge. The air condenser is of microchannel aluminium design. Fans are axial with EC motors, enabling variable speed control and adjustable condensing temperatures.

Each MIDIS unit is factory tested and charged with refrigerant and oil. Conformity assessment of the unit (assembly) is carried out in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU. The unit meets all safety and environmental requirements.
