High-efficiency, configurable water chillers

MIDLINE units are high-efficiency, air-cooled water chillers. They are developed to cover medium-capacity cooling requirements (commercial and industrial applications). MIDLINE units are characterized by high configurability, i.e., a wide selection of hydraulic-side options. All optional equipment is installed inside the unit housing. MIDLINE water chillers are intended for outdoor installation.

The compressor in each refrigeration circuit is a semi-hermetic reciprocating compressor, controlled by a high-efficiency frequency inverter that enables soft start and continuous speed modulation for cooling capacity control.

MIDLINE units are equipped with a shared dual plate evaporator with advanced characteristics (SWEP True Dual technology), which connects both refrigeration circuits to the hydraulic circuit via one plate evaporator. This design ensures unit compactness, guarantees the highest heat exchange efficiency, and reduces the required refrigerant charge. The air condenser is of microchannel aluminum design. Axial fans equipped with EC motors allow variable speed control, resulting in exceptionally high operating efficiency.

Each MIDLINE unit is factory tested and delivered pre-charged with refrigerant and oil. Conformity assessment is carried out in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU. The unit complies with all safety and environmental requirements.

As part of the optional equipment, integrated heat exchangers for natural cooling
(free cooling) do not affect the unit length, as they are integrated

GENERAL

  • Powder-coated galvanized steel housing, corrosion and weather resistant, standard color RAL 7035

  • Buffer tank (2 connections) or hydraulic separator (4 connections) on the cold and/or hot side, together with a circulation pump
  • Secondary-side (cold side) circulation pump, if a buffer tank is installed
