MIDLINE

Medium-capacity reversible heat pumps

The MIDLINE heat pump series is developed to cover the heating demands of medium-capacity systems. MIDLINE heat pumps can be designed as reversible units, enabling operation in cooling mode as well. Accordingly, MIDLINE reversible heat pumps are a solution for covering seasonal heating and cooling demands. A wide range of hydraulic equipment integration within the unit housing enables a more compact and simpler system layout.

MIDLINE heat pumps are equipped with a dual plate heat exchanger with advanced heat transfer characteristics (SWEP True Dual technology), connecting both refrigerant circuits to the hydraulic circuit via one shared plate heat exchanger. This design ensures unit compactness, the highest heat exchange efficiency, and reduces the required refrigerant charge. The air heat exchangers are made of copper tubes with aluminum fins. Axial fans with EC motors enable variable speed control, achieving exceptionally high operating efficiency.

Depending on the required heating capacity, MIDLINE heat pumps use semi-hermetic reciprocating or hermetic scroll compressors, designed and certified for operation with flammable refrigerants. For precise capacity control and energy savings, compressors use frequency inverters, while the overall unit operation is managed by an advanced controller. The units are intended for outdoor installation.

Each MIDLINE unit is factory tested and delivered pre-charged with refrigerant and oil. Conformity assessment is carried out in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU. The unit complies with all safety and environmental requirements.
