PROBOX

High-efficiency, compact water chiller / heat pump (small capacity)

The PROBOX series consists of high-efficiency, water-cooled chillers and heat pumps featuring a compact, modular design. The footprint of the unit casing fits within the dimensions of a standard Euro pallet (1200 × 800 mm), simplifying transportation, installation and servicing.

The units are designed for indoor installation in accordance with the requirements of EN 378. All refrigerant circuit components are installed within a fully enclosed housing, and the refrigerant charge is less than 4.9 kg. Key refrigerant circuit components are available in ATEX-certified versions, including the semi-hermetic reciprocating compressor, which is controlled by a frequency inverter enabling soft starting and continuous capacity regulation.

Two high-efficiency EC pumps, installed on the evaporator and condenser sides, enable flow rate control. The plate evaporator and condenser ensure efficient heat transfer while reducing the required refrigerant charge.

Each unit is factory-tested in accordance with EN 14511 and supplied pre-charged with refrigerant and oil. The assembly is subject to conformity assessment in accordance with Directive 2014/68/EU on pressure equipment (PED), ensuring compliance with the applicable safety and environmental protection requirements.

PROBOX units can be connected in parallel—or combined—to create a flexible system with a higher heating or cooling capacity. This configuration is well-suited for retrofitting existing systems, for example in buildings with limited installation space.
