Modular, compact liquid chillers / heat pumps

The FLIPPER series consists of high-efficiency, water-cooled water chillers / heat pumps in a very compact, modular design. They are intended for indoor installation only. The refrigerant charge is less than 5 kg per refrigeration circuit. By connecting multiple FLIPPER units in parallel, a flexible supply system is created that can cover the cooling or heating demand of larger installations.

FLIPPER units use scroll compressors controlled by frequency inverters, enabling smooth and precise capacity control. Advanced plate heat exchangers (SWEP AsyMatrix technology) are installed to ensure maximum heat transfer efficiency.

For higher heating or cooling capacities, the FLIPPER DUO units take over, featuring two refrigerant circuits. They use advanced dual plate heat exchangers (SWEP True Dual technology) which connect both refrigerant circuits to a common hydraulic circuit through a single plate heat exchanger. This preserves the compactness of the unit and reduces the required refrigerant charge.

Each unit is factory tested and delivered pre-charged with refrigerant and oil. Conformity assessment is carried out in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU and meets all safety and environmental requirements.

FLIPPER units can be connected in parallel, i.e. combined to create a flexible
system with a higher heating or cooling capacity. Such a configuration is
particularly suitable for retrofitting existing systems
(e.g. buildings with limited installation space).
