PICO

High-efficiency, compact water chiller / heat pump (small capacity)

PICO units stand out for exceptional compactness: the unit dimensions allow it to be placed on a standard Euro pallet (1200 mm length and 800 mm width). This significantly simplifies transport, installation and servicing.
The PICO unit uses a hermetic scroll compressor with advanced performance, enabling very low noise levels in operation. The scroll compressor is controlled by a high-efficiency frequency inverter (drive) that provides soft start and continuously variable compressor speed to regulate cooling / heating capacity. The unit can be equipped with two smart pumps (one on the evaporator side and one on the condenser side), improving unit control and efficiency and, consequently, the performance of the entire system.

The evaporator and condenser are plate heat exchangers with advanced heat transfer characteristics, ensuring maximum heat transfer efficiency and significantly reducing the required refrigerant charge.

Each unit is factory tested and delivered pre-charged with refrigerant and oil. Conformity assessment is carried out in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU, meeting all safety and environmental requirements.

PICO units can be connected in parallel, i.e. combined to create a flexible system
with higher heating or cooling capacity. Such a configuration is suitable for
retrofitting existing systems (e.g. buildings with limited installation space).
